THE RESTAURANT HORACE POUTINE - MORE THAN 30 YEARS OF HISTORY
Established in Drummondville in 1977, Restaurant Horace Poutine originated in the canteen Mr Poutine, who at the time, offered strictly a foreign service. In the early 1980s, adding a space-bar allows the restaurant to attract new customers. Then, in 1994, we proceed to the construction of a dining room.
In 1999, Helen Prince and André Lavoie, former owners of the restaurant in Drummondville Horace and Horace latter impersonator whose caricatures also appear on the walls of the restaurant, purchased the restaurant Mr Putin. Three years later, after major renovations to the dining room made at a cost of $ 200,000, he renamed the place Horace Poutine.
This redevelopment has finally allowed the restaurant to build up the atmosphere and heat so special that its own reputation and to thank its loyal customers who frequent the last two generations.
Today, the restaurant Horace Poutine has about fifty employees. Certainly, it is far from the small smoky canteen 30 years ago!
